N722 Material Re-Handler

CARD VALIDITY: 2 or 5 years
OBJECTIVE:
To provide delegates with the knowledge and skills which will enable them to securely and competently operate a cloth Re-Handler in line with NPORS guidelines.
COURSE DELIVERY:
This course will consist of a large element of practical tuition. Any delegates undertaking a novice N722 Material Re-Handler course will also undertake theory training to prepare them for the multiple-choice assessment. All delegates are provided with and are encouraged to read MALWA PLANT TRAINING NPORS study notes.
CERTIFICATION
Successful candidates will obtain an NPORS ‘National Plant Operators Registration Scheme’ card on completion. Those requiring the CSCS-embossed Red Trained Operator card (2 year validity) will got to have a legitimate CITB HS&E test; during this 2 year period candidates will got to achieve the relevant plant operations NVQ which will enable them to upgrade their Blue Competent Operator card (5 year validity).
Alternatively, candidates not holding a legitimate CITB HS&E test will only be eligible to receive the normal 5 year NPORS operator card, however this does not carry the CSCS logo and is not as widely recognised.
REQUIREMENTS
It is important that any candidates have an honest understanding of spoken and written English, interpreters are available upon request for those that aren’t fluent in English. All candidates will got to provide their own appropriate PPE for training and testing purposes.
